Situated on 84 acres with bluffs of pinon pine, juniper trees and large fertile meadows, overlooking the Santa Fe Trail of wagon train history. The farm is located in a zone 5 climate. Sierra Vista Farms New Meadow on January 21, 2006. About 10 acres in size;
13 large Cedar trees need to be removed. (A light snow fall covers the ground.)

After "ripping" the ground it was plowed for the first time in early May 2006:
just prior to installing a lot of fence posts and fencing. One acre of the
New Meadow was planted in garlic cloves and bulbils in 2006. The area planted
to garlic cloves and bulbils was increased to two acres in 2007.

Our two work horses: The 1958 Farmall 450 handles all the heavy tasks. Dakota
the Airdale keeps everything running smooth. (Can't forget Dryfus, the Chesterfield
terrier, sitting on the tractor seat.)
